Accuracy goals are < 50 mas for position and between 0.04 and 0.01 degrees for angle (depending on SI). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Observations Description ------------------------ Target stars and guide stars are selected from an astrometric catalog of M35 to obtain the most accurate position information available. The science instruments STIS, ACS, WFC3 and COS are exposed in turn with minimal changes in telescope pointing. Observations six months apart use the same guide star pair switching them between FGS1 and FGS3.
