Abstract This proposal checks the WFPC2 plate scale in the UV and red. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Observations Description ------------------------ Observations of the bright cluster NGC2100 are obtained in the UV and F953N. Data will be taken in F170W, F218W, F300W, F555W (to allow tie-in to previous observations) and F953N. To minimize orbits required, the program is designed around short exposures in the filters listed above; the data will provide a verification of the plate scale in the UV but exposure times will not be long enough to allow a full distortion solution.
