The OBSTA branch provides expertise in telescope planning and scheduling to the HST and JWST missions as well as external missions. Major expertise
areas include orbital constraints, guide stars, space craft modeling, artificial intelligence, optimization algorithms, and graphical user
interfaces. Team members provide support for SPSS, SPIKE, TRANS, POMS, and GMS systems.
