Spike for Chandra/AXAF

The Chandra Advanced X-Ray Astrophysics Facility (AXAF) is the next of NASA's Great Observatories. AXAF is using Spike to schedule its Long Range Plan. Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) is under contract to provide technical support and Spike extensions to support AXAF's Long Range Planning.

AXAF is planning to create 6 month long plans. The long range plan is divided up into 1 week bins that will be oversubscribed. Each 1 week bin will then short term scheduled and any observation not short term scheduled will be redistributed in the long range plan.
