The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) is one of the astronomy centers operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc. (AURA). It is responsible for the scientific operation of the Hubble Space Telescope under contract to NASA. STScI will also be supporting science operations and ground system development for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) for NASA. HST and JWST are joint programs with the European Space Agency (ESA).

Opportunities

STScI is interested in fostering partnerships with other organizations interested in astronomical research, and can provide various technical services and software packages in support of observatory and mission planning and scheduling, observing program development, pipeline data processing, and data archiving and distribution.
