SHARE Meeting 9/12/01 Present: Anton, Mark, Jerry, Howard, Daryl, Dorothy 1. Daryl and Howard will be at ADASS meeting 1st week of Oct. They'll discuss our studies with colleagues from ST/ECF and CADC. 2. Both Dorothy and Anton had 1st/2nd drafts of their writeup topics. Both had very good content. Anton's format was nicely organized: Title Science Case Unique STScI Capability We agreed that it would be good to start with a brief description of each topic, in addition to the title, as Dorothy did. It would also be good to discuss "cons", or drawbacks, in a separate section for each topic. 3. Outline for final report: 1. Introduction - summarize charter, describe the process used for the study 2. Discussion of potential reprocessing enhancements - List the ideas we developed, in priority order - Individual subsections on each idea (contributed by you) 3. Recommendations for implementation - Discuss items selected (our highest priorities from above) - Timescales for implementation - resources required 4. Recommendations for future community involvement - updates on progress in archive newsletters - regular STUC presentations as recommended implementations proceed - presentations/discussions at future ADASS/AAS meetings 4. Plan for institude-wide town hall meeting the week of Oct. 1, likely to be Tue or Wed at noon in the auditorium. Distribute draft report to institute staff by end of previous week (Fri, 9/28). 5. Schedule for draft: - writeups to Jerry by the end of the week (9/15) - collated draft to group next Wednesday (9/19) - Comments to Jerry by Monday, 9/24 - Revised draft to institute staff, Fri, 9/28 - Incorporate comments from town hall meeting, and ADASS attendees, send draft to STUC by Fri, 10/19. - Probable presentation to STUC, which meets here Oct 25 & 26. 6.
