---------------------------- FAR_UV EMPIRICAL STELLAR LIBRARY FOR Starburst99 ============================ This web page contains empirical spectra of OB stars combined and interpolated for each spectral type of each principal luminosity classes (I to V and WR). Spectra covers from 1003.1 to 1182.678A, with a dispersion of 0.127A. All data are normalized and are given in FITS format. Refs: Robert. C. et. al. 2003, ApJS, 144, 21 and ============ SPECIFICATIONS: --------------- -Available metallicities: 0.3 Zsun (LMC+SMC) Zsun (Milky Way) -Available Spectral Types: O3 to B0 (sub-solar) O3 to B3 (MKW) WNE+WNL+WCE+WCL (all metallicities) NOTE1: For information about what stars and how many stars are included in each spectral class, please read the paper of Robert etal. (2003) mentionned above. NOTE2: In the WR class, various types of WN and WC spectra, used to create the WNE+WNL+WCE+WCL spectra are also included. Be advise that it does NOT systematically include all known sub-classes. =============== ORGANIZATION: -------------- FILENAMES: ex.= o6.5iii_mc.fits The first serie of characters indicates the spectral type and the luminosity class: o6.5iii (O6.5 type, giant); b4v (B4 type, dwarf); wne (WN-early). The second serie of three characters indicates the metallicity: mc for Magellanic Clouds stars; mw for Milky Way stars. =============== AP - December 3rd, 2004
