Lea joined STScI as a postdoctoral researcher in 2017, working with Julia Roman-Duval as part of the ISM@ST group. She completed her graduate work at Penn State University working with Caryl Gronwall and Michael Siegel. Her broad research focus is using ultraviolet to near-infrared observations of nearby galaxies to constrain dust attenuation and star formation.
