How are accretion disks in Seyfert Galaxies oriented relative to the galactic disk which hosts them? This angle, $\beta$, serves as a link with the innermost workings of the active galaxy - either as the memory of the activity-provoking event, or as a diagnostic for the structure of the accretion disk. In a study based on radio jet direction and host galaxy major axis, I will show how the accretion disks of Sy 1's tend to lie in the plane of the spiral galaxy, while Sy 2's tend to lie tipped into the plane of the host galaxy. Seyferts as a whole show little tendency for accretion disks to align with the host galaxy disk and, in addition, they show a zone of avoidance - with no or very few objects where their accretion disks align within 20 degrees of the normal to the host galaxy disk.
