I'm a programmer who works for works for Information Services at the Space Telescope. I work on the part of the web system that's written in Zope and the LDAP software. I got my degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Maryland too many years ago. After that, I worked as a programmer for a small government contractor (aka "Beltway Bandit") called Ketron. I was hired by the Space Telescope back in 1985 and I've worked on the Guide Star System, Space Telescope Science data Analysis System (STDSAS), the Calibration Database System (CDBS), and now Zope and LDAP.
I also have a personal web site called the "Careless Hand" that Institute policy forbids me to link to. But you can find it easily enough if you search Google.
