Interstellar Medium Research Group
This research group concentrates on studies related to interstellar
dust and gas in our galaxy and nearby galaxies (and sometimes even further
away!). This group is lead by myself
and Julia Roman-Duval. It is based at STScI.
Current group research concentrates on observations of nearby galaxies
(MW, SMC, LMC, M31, M33, and other local universe galaxies) from the UV to the radio
(ground-based, GALEX, Spitzer, Herschel, Hubble, etc.)
and dust radiative transfer (using the
(DIRTY code).
