Personal Review :
We stopped at a Baja Fresh Mexican Grill in Cockeysville, MD one evening
on the way home after shopping for our first time. We weren't sure exactly
what to expect. Surprise. If you want good mexican food from a fast
food-type chain, this, to my finding so far, is one of the best. Way
better than other more familiar places like Taco Bell, etc. The food
is fresh cooked with flour tortillas and ingredients. We've tried
many different items in subsequent visits and have never been disappointed.
Baja Fresh is good, fast, authentic mexican that is also an excellent
value. Portions are more than ample. We have never gone away hungry; indeed,
we have occasionally wondered if we could even finish.
Fajitas, burritos (some BIG ones), taco salads of various types including
chipotle glazed charbroiled chicken and chile lime chicken are among the
enticing items. Fish tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and many more savory
items are included on the menu. One can also get a small or huge portion
of black beans, pinto beans and/or rice. Prices are very reasonable. Dinner
for two typically costs us less than $20 and we go away more than satisfied.
Baja Fresh is a great find. Many other similar types of places seem to
be opening up as well. Baja Fresh is, believe it or not, owned by Wendy's
and they are doing quite well in the Baltimore/DC region as well as areas
out west. So, if you're in the mood for quick, good and cheap mexican food,
this is the place. You can't miss. Lot's of locations around Baltimore/DC.
