Personal Review :
I haven't been to Pinebrook myself yet, but several other co-workers here at
the Space Telescope Science Institute have, and they rave about the place.
It apparently is the typical small, mostly take-out, Chinese food
restaurant, but with excellent and overflowing containers of delicacies. One
of the favorites mentioned was the Fried Chiao Tzu (meat dumplings with
celery and spices). Prices are very low for the quantity and quality. The
only warning, the restaurant is a mom and pop type operation, so the
wait for your food can be long. Orders are prepared for in-house patrons in a
serial fashion, one dish at a time. Bring a bottle of wine and some friends
to make the time go faster. Waits are often more than 30 minutes, but worth
it from what I'm told.

Pinebrook
is listed on the World Guide to Vegetarianism. The note, very
simply, reads "Oriental. Unbelievably cheap and unusual vegetarian
entrees."
