I am a post-doctoral fellow at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, MD (USA), having moved here in January 2014. Prior to that I was an ESO Fellow at the European Southern Observatory. I work on the detection and characterisation of planets and stellar- and intermediate-mass black holes using gravitational lensing. I am also interested in variables stars, particularly in globular clusters. At STScI, I work with Dr Kailash Sahu on a project using data from the Hubble Space Telescope as well as ground-based data.

I completed my Ph.D. in June 2010 in the Astronomy group at the University of St. Andrews, working on the detection of extrasolar planets by gravitational microlensing with Keith Horne, and on debris disk evolution with Jane Greaves.
