~ ~ This thesis has shown that there is a large amount of work being done in Concurrent Engineering, and that there is a need to bring that research into practical use. The Concurrent Engineering Demonstration System, SNEAKERS is one foray into this area. Though much has been accomplished there is still room for expansion and improvement. CE is a growing area of interest for large companies, and the work done on this project is an attempt to increase that interest among managers and engineers alike.
