OPUS is a software system that processes incoming
data in a pipeline through modular software elements. Users can
control individual elements, tailor the software to handle diverse
types of data (astronomical, genomic, other experimental data),
and run multiple processes to maximize efficiency.
OPUS was originally developed to handle and manage data from the
Hubble Space Telescope and now is used for a variety of astronomical
and other types of science data.
