The Astronomer’s Proposal Tool (APT) is
software designed for preparing proposals and astronomical observations
via a graphical user interface. Users select their targets interactively
with the Visual Target Tuner. Proposers can enter pertinent information
through forms and upload their scientific justifications and other
descriptive materials via PDF files.
The software ingests proposals in modular units into a database
to provide easy assembly for Peer Reviews and generation of statistics,
instrument demands and other information for observatory staff.
