Description

Calibrating Hubble Space Telescope: Post-Servicing Mission, May 1995

A workshop on calibrating Hubble Space Telescope Data after the servicing mission was held at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore from May 15th to May 17th 1995.

Notes

The rationale behind this workshop is to bring together the HST community and the STScI instrument scientists and other STScI staff so they can exchange ideas on calibration of HST data and its analysis. It has been nearly a year since the servicing mission launched the WFPC2, and changed the characteristics of the FOC, FOS and GHRS. Hence, it is time to assemble the collected wisdom of the HST community tosummarize our current understanding of HST and the science instruments onboard.
