JWebbinar 30 - MOS Planning with MPT using an Example Science Case

Software and Data

About Event

Tue 23 Jan 2024

Location

Virtual

Time

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST

Description

The MSA Planning Tool (MPT) can be used to create NIRSpec multi-object spectroscopy (MOS) observations that achieve desired science goals. Using a real science program as an example the presenter will demonstrate how instrument and observational constraints inform MOS planning strategies in MPT.

An additional session was held on January 24, 2024.
