Description
In JWST Cycle 6, new modes and capabilities are available for the JWST instruments. This JWebbinar will provide an overview of the new features and enhancements to existing capabilities, helping the community prepare proposals:
- NIRSPec: New Multistripe mode for Bright Object Time Series observations via Prism.
- NIRISS: Superstripe mode for Single Object Slitless Spectroscopy.
- NIRCam: New Superstripe mode, Short Wavelength Grism Time Series, and Moving Target Shadow Observations.
- MIRI: WFSS offered in parallel, new Imaging and LRS sub-arrays, and FASTRGRPAV8 readout mode for science exposures.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the newly offered features and enhancements.
