Description
One of the Roman Coronagraph’s critical enabling technologies is its deformable mirror(s). There are two deformable mirrors on Roman, allowing the coronagraph active control over the wavefront error in the system. This talk will be a broad overview of the design, assembly, and performance of those two mirrors, with a learned lesson or two thrown in for good measure.
Speaker: Dr. Caleb W. Baker (JPL, CalTech)
