Description
This training will introduce the Roman Telescope Proposal System (RTPS), a web interface that proposers will use to submit proposals to the Cycle 1 Call. Participants will be shown the elements of different proposal types — namely those aimed at seeking funding support for the analysis of Roman data, and those that request new observations.

The Ready, Set, Roman! Training Series is a hands-on training series designed to prepare the community for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope — brought to you by the the Roman Science Centers at STScI and IPAC. This training series will help build the knowledge and skills needed to make the most of Roman’s Core Community Surveys (CCS) and General Astrophysics Surveys (GAS) with the Wide Field Instrument (WFI). Participants can expect:

Live, hands-on demos of Roman tools or simulated datasets

Ample time for Q&A with Roman staff
