Description
Please join us in-person to learn more about astronomy during our Youth for Astronomy and Engineering Program event "STEM Forum" followed by an opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and night sky observation (weather permitting). The program will be geared towards students in 3rd to 12th grade but all are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required. The event is FREE to attend (does not include dinner reception). You can also attend the dinner reception for a minimal cost. We welcome large groups to come and participate in our program.

Title: Exploring the Universe with JWST, an engineering dream fulfilling its promise
Presentation Summary:
Join for one evening of excitement and discovery with JWST, the most sophisticated telescope ever launched into space. After decades of development JWST has opened a new window into the universe and its revolutionizing all areas of astronomy. During this talk we will learn details about JWST's engineering marvels, as well as some of its most important science discoveries to date.
