Description
There is a vast amount of information stored in the large-scale structure of the universe. Over the past 10 years, the Dark Energy Survey (DES) has been using ever larger maps of the sky to learn about the history and content of our Universe. In this talk I will present the recent results from DES that combines the final, six-year dataset and what we have learned in this 10-year journey. I will also give an outlook to the field in terms of galaxy imaging surveys with the starting of the Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time, as well as the Roman Space Telescope High Latitude Imaging Survey.
Speaker: Chihway Chang (The University of Chicago)
