Proposal Deadline Extension Available for Users with Extenuating Circumstances

October 8, 2024

About This Article

As the Cycle 4 proposal deadline for JWST gets closer, some observers may face external conditions, beyond their control, that could prevent them from submitting their proposals in time. STScI’s policies, valid for both JWST and HST, make provisions for these exceptional cases. Proposers facing extenuating circumstances may contact the Help Desk, using the Science Policies card, to request a moderate extension. Requests with justification must be submitted for approval before the deadline. Visit JDox for the late breaking news on the JWST Cycle 4 Call for Proposals.
