About This Article

During the JWST Town Hall at the 245th meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS), the astronomical community received an overview of JWST science, updates from the NASA Project, status reports on the observatory and its science operations, and information about the timelines for Cycles 4 and 5. STScI also organized a JWST Pipeline Workshop preceding the official start of AAS245. Participants were presented with an overview of the JWST science calibration pipeline and resources, a summary of known issues and recent/upcoming updates for each instrument, and walked through a series of guided exercises. These presentations are now available on the JWST 245th AAS Meeting event page.
