The Report from the 17th JSTUC Meeting Is Now Available

About This Article

The 17th meeting of the JWST Users Committee (JSTUC) was held in person at STScI on November 11-12, 2024. Topics included a discussion of the overall status of the mission; updates on the JWST pipeline, the Grants Working Group, and the pure parallels implementation; Cycle 4 submission statistics; and new initiatives. The JSTUC has submitted their report which includes feedback, updates, and formal recommendations. The report recommends continued  improvements to pipeline data processing; supports new observing modes and initiatives; and endorses new initiatives in engagement, communication, and outreach, changes to the Time Allocation Committee review process, and grant processes, among other items.
