About This Article

On March 24th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (US Eastern Time), STScI will host JWebbinar 47 – NIRCam and MIRI Calibration Update. Calibration of the JWST science instruments is an ongoing process, continually evolving as better data processing algorithms have been designed and in response to changes onboard the Observatory. After almost 4 years of normal science operations, an update on the performance and calibration quality of NIRCam and MIRI will be provided. We will review the status of calibration and pipeline products for various observing modes, including recent improvements in flux and wavelength calibration, spectroscopy, astrometry, and coronagraphy. The first half will cover NIRCam, the second half will cover MIRI updates. The session will be recorded and made available shortly after the event.

Registration is not required for this JWebbinar. Please visit the event page for details and instructions on how to join.

The JWebbinars webpage provides information on the entire series and access to recordings and materials of previous sessions.
