About This Article
On July 7th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (U.S. Eastern Time), STScI will host JWebbinar 50: Hands-on Demo, Viewing, and Analyzing JWST Data with Jdaviz 5.0. In this JWebbinar, we will introduce major updates to Jdaviz — the data visualization tool — where images, spectra, cubes, and catalogs can now be visualized and analyzed in one application. We will provide a demo of how to install Jdaviz and load data from local files or directly from MAST. Then together, we will explore how to use Jdaviz to perform data analysis on a variety of different JWST observations and instruments. This JWebbinar is useful for both new and experienced users to explore the changes to Jdaviz. Attendees can work on the example datasets in Jdaviz during the JWebbinar.
Registration is required for this JWebbinar. We will send an email with more details, including how to join, after the registration closes on July 2nd. The session will be recorded and there will be ample time for questions.
The JWebbinars webpage provides information on the entire series and access to recordings and materials of previous sessions.
