We invite you to celebrate the milestones, accomplishments, and discoveries that defined 2025 at the Space Telescope Science Institute in our recently released annual report. Throughout the 2025 calendar year, more than 850 staff members at the institute contributed their talents and expertise to support the astronomy community and serve the public on a daily basis.
Highlights include the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes’ teamwork to track interstellar visitor comet 3I/ATLAS, the commencement of the multi-year, multi-mission Director’s Discretionary Rocky Worlds program, rolling out the cloud-based Roman Research Nexus in preparation for the launch of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, and helping bring together hundreds of scientists, technologists, and policymakers to complete foundational work for the Habitable Worlds Observatory.
