The Southern Hubble Deep Field

In July, the director announced plans to observe a southern field to depths comparable to the northern Hubble Deep Field. Fields under consideration are listed below.
   ID R.A. (J2000) Dec.
  SF01-A: 22 50 09.42 -60 22 21.2
  SF01-B: 22 50 18.43 -60 16 32.2
  SF03-A: 22 32 59.64 -60 40 15.0
  SF04-A: 22 13 33.47 -61 02 03.0
  SF11-A: 02 50 44.50 -60 32 45.6
  SF11-B: 02 52 01.44 -60 36 27.1
  SF12-A: 00 37 49.20 -62 18 18.9
  SF12-B: 00 37 39.42 -62 18 56.8
  SF14-A: 04 12 58.98 -59 02 15.8
  SF15-A: 23 30 19.24 -60 28 41.0
  SF15-B: 23 31 08.30 -60 27 51.8
  SF16-A: 02 49 28.97 -63 30 46.5
Areas of about 1 degree around these field centers are being searched for a reasonably bright (19 < V < 21) QSO with z > 2.5 for absorption line studies.
