KPNO Infrared JHK composite image of the Hubble Deep Field
This color composite image of the Hubble Deep Field was obtained with the
IRIM infrared camera at the KPNO 4m Telescope. The J, H and K bands
drive the blue, green and red guns of the image display, respectively,
in this representation.
IRIM was rotated to an x-axis position angle of 67 degrees for the
observations. The orientation of this image therefore matches that
of the
HST WFPC2 data,
with NNW up and ENE left.
