Profile Details
Francie Cashman is a postdoctoral fellow at STScI. Her research focuses on the physical and chemical conditions near the Galactic Center.
Francie received her PhD in Physics from the University of South Carolina in 2020. Her PhD thesis research explored the chemical/physical differences between multiple sight lines through the ISM/CGM of galaxies toward gravitationally lensed quasars, as well as provided a comprehensive survey of the atomic data commonly used in absorption line studies of the interstellar, circumgalactic, and intergalactic medium.
