      <Title>The Reel Deal: Interpreting HST Multi-Epoch Movies of YSO Jets.</Title>
      
      <Abstract>The goal of this proposal is to bring the theoretical interpretation of Young Stellar Object jets and their environments to a new level of realism.  We propose to build on the results of a successful Cycle 16 observing proposal that has obtained 3rd epoch images of HH jets.  We will use Adaptive Mesh Refinement MHD simulations (developed by our team) to carry forward a detailed program of modeling and interpretation of the time-dependent behavior revealed in the new, extended multi-epoch data set.  Only with the third epoch observations can we explore forces: i.e. accelerations, decelerations and structural changes to develop an accurate understanding of physical processes occurring in hypersonic, magnetized jet flows. Our studies will allow us to characterize the jets and, therefore, make the crucial link with jet central engines.  We note an innovative feature of our project is its link with laboratory astrophysical experiments of jets.  Our analysis of the observations will be used to determine future laboratory experiments which will explore &#x201c;clumpy&#x201d; jet propagation issues.</Abstract>
