      <Title>AGN Fueling: Alignments Between Circumnuclear Structures and Radio Jets?</Title>
      
      <Abstract>Evidence is mounting that moderate luminosity active galaxies at all redshifts are found in undisturbed disk galaxies, and yet we still have very limited understanding of how secular processes (such as bars) facilitate accretion. We propose to study the relationship between the angular momentum of gas on ~100-pc scales and the sub-pc scale disk using archival HST imaging of local Seyfert galaxies with radio jets. We will uncover the statistical relationship between the orientation of the sub-pc scale accretion disk with circumnuclear structures (rings, bars, and/or disks) identified with the HST imaging to reveal the interplay between secular bulge growth and nuclear activity.</Abstract>
