The TTRB has granted permission for these changes from mapping with the CCD to
FUV MAMA and the E140M grating. Note that four additional visits are provided as
alternatives should the ground-based monitoring indicate that the flux is increaseing
faster than expected.
Resubmitted under APT 27.1 as change in orbital visibility.
This resubmission is for two reasons. 1) The wavecal for E140H setting at 1234A is extremely
faint and works marginally.
We add for visits 6, 7 and 8 a three minute wavecal to ensure proper reference
(and recommend extending wavecal times in future programs). This requires that the 1234A grating setting
be moved from exposure 3 to exposure 5, just before earth avoidance.
2) examination of the modified pipeline process demonstrates that the nebular contribution
to the spectrum depresses the total flux and for S IV 1400A and N V 1242A the bottom is below zero.
Hence we change to the supported 0.2x0.2 aperture for visits 6,7, and 8.

----- Attempting Submission 5 (Fri May 24 02:13:48 GMT 2019) -----Eta Carinae: X-ray Emission Line Diagnostics On the Approach to Periastron PassageThe AO20 interval is a key orbital interval for the study of X-ray emission from Eta Carinae. We propose four HETGS observations of Eta Carina during AO20 to: 1) compare the thermodynamic properties of the X-ray emitting gas in the colliding wind shock 2) compare the spectrum properties with earlier observations to study cycle-to-cycle changes and 3) correlate the current X-ray flow dynamics with the distribution of the circumstellar nebula using HST/STIS spectral mapping. These observations will be part of an overall campaign during the approach to the next periastron passage, including spatially-resolved mapping of the inner wind-wind interaction with the VLTI/MATISSE instrument at scales of 6 mas.
The four HST/STIS orbits have been re-allocated to monitor the FUV spectral changes as the X-ray flux increases.The four CVZ orbits will produce data for maps in [Fe II], [Fe III], He I (4706A), [N II].
