Together these will reveal reprocessing signatures over a broad range of xi, NH and velocity. The tightly-constrained black hole mass in NGC 4051 will facilitate translation of measurements to accurate radial and geometric constraints, elucidating contributions from the accretion disk, BLR and torus. The proposed campaign will provide a major step toward a complete model for the reprocessor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Observations Description ------------------------ We propose a 220 ks XMM exposure with 150 ks of NuSTAR and 4 orbits of HST in support of a 150 ks approved cycle 1 XRISM observation of NGC 4051. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 17896( 3) - 14-Jan-2025 12:22:04 - [ 2] TARGET LIST Fixed Targets ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tar| Target | Target | Target |Coord | Radial | Flux data No | Name | Description | Position |Eqnx | Vel. | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 NGC-4051 GALAXY, ACCRETION DISK, RA=12H03M9.6072S +/- 0.072", J2000 V = 12.92 +/- 0.10 SEYFERT DEC=+44D31'52.72" +/- 0.072" Reference Frame: Other: NED Extended: NO Comments: This object was generated by the targetselector and retrieved from the NED database. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 17896( 3) - 14-Jan-2025 12:22:04 - [ 3] Visit: 01 Visit Requirements: On Hold Comments: Additional Comments: Exposures ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Exp | Target | Instr | Oper. | Aper |Spectral|Central| Optional |Num| Time | Special Num | Name | Config | Mode | or FOV |Element |Waveln.| Parameters |Exp| (Total) | Requirements ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 NGC-4051 COS/NUV ACQ/IMA BOA MIRRORA 1 60 S (60 GE S) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2 NGC-4051 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G130M 1222 FP-POS=ALL, BUFFER-TIME=798 1 940 S G see below (4554 S) Comments: Schedule with XMM ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3 NGC-4051 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G160M 1533 FP-POS=ALL, BUFFER-TIME=1115 1 1088 S G see below (4351 S) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sub Exposures ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Target | Exp |Instr | Oper. | Aper |Spectral|Cent.|Primary |Secondary |Iteration |CR-SPLIT |Orbit |Duration Name | Num |Config | Mode | or FOV |Element |Wave.|Pattern Pos |Pattern Pos |Num |Num |Number | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NGC-4051 1 COS/NUV ACQ/IMA BOA MIRRORA none none none none 1 N/A GE NGC-4051 2 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G130M 1222 none none none 1 1 1050.0 S G NGC-4051 2 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G130M 1222 none none none 2 1 1042.0 S G NGC-4051 2 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G130M 1222 none none none 3 2 1227.0 S G NGC-4051 2 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G130M 1222 none none none 4 2 1235.0 S G NGC-4051 3 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G160M 1533 none none none 1 3 1062.0 S G NGC-4051 3 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G160M 1533 none none none 2 3 1098.0 S G NGC-4051 3 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G160M 1533 none none none 3 4 1088 S G NGC-4051 3 COS/FUV TIME-TA PSA G160M 1533 none none none 4 4 1103.0 S G 17896( 3) - 14-Jan-2025 12:22:04 - [ 4] Summary Form for Proposal 17896 Item Used in this proposal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apertures BOA, PSA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Configurations COS/FUV, COS/NUV ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Opmodes ACQ/IMAGE, TIME-TAG ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Optional Parameters BUFFER-TIME=1115, BUFFER-TIME=798, FP-POS=ALL ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spectral Elements G130M, G160M, MIRRORA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Target Names NGC-4051 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
