Abstract We propose to determine the masses of pre-main sequence binaries selected from our lunar occultation survey of the Taurus star-forming region. We plan to use the Fine Guidance Sensors to measure the apparent orbits of the binaries. Since the distance to the region is known the apparent orbits will yield the total masses of the binaries.
