Abstract We are observing the Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33) as part of the Hubble Heritage Project. The aim of the Heritage Project is to provide spectacular HST color images for public release, outreach, and education. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Observations Description ------------------------ Observations of the horsehead nebula. A note regarding repeated observations: Original Visits 1, 2, and 4 failed due to poor guide star acquisition. Visit 54 was a repeat of visit 4 and executed successfully. Visits 5 and 6 are pseudo- repeats of visits 1 and 2, but with different targets (different ra, dec, and orients) due to the unavailability of the original orient. A recommended, but not required, BETWEEN statement is being placed on visits 5 and 6 such that they execute in the 2001 calendar year, and not 2002. This object was a publically voted target from a June 2000 voting session. The Heritage Release will occur once all data is in, at which time all data will become public.
