Abstract This archival project is to perform a full structural, morphological and color analysis of the galaxies in distant cluster CL1322.5+3028 (z=0.75). CL1322.5+3028 is an extremely rich, high blue fraction cluster in which we have recently obtained deep KPNO 4m data through the four color Stromgren filter system (uvby). Comparison between WFPC2 images and ground-based photometry will enable us to compare the structural and morphological classification of cluster members with narrow band color classification. CL1322.5+3028 presents a unique target in that we have deep, wide coverage, multi- filter WFPC2 data combined with new, equivalent depth ground- based narrow band photometry. This will be direct comparison between the photometric and physical properties of both the blue and red populations in a rich cluster, a key test of galaxy evolution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9949( 1) - 04/04/03 10:32 - [ 2] Summary Form for Proposal 9949 Item Used in this proposal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Proposal Category AR ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
