Calibration Outsourcing
NICMOS has more modes and capabilities than the NICMOS group has resources to calibrate. HST users are thus encouraged to submit calibration proposals (see the Call for Proposals), to fill possible gaps. Examples of these calibrations are NICMOS polarimetry in Cameras 1 and 2, photometric transformations, inter pixel sensitivities, etc. .
