1.8 What's New in Version 8.0 for Cycle 13
Major revisions since Version 7.0 may be summarized as follows:
- The Phase II proposal preparation tool RPS2 has been replaced with the Astronomer's Proposal Tool (APT). APT is a new suite of powerful tools, including the Visual Target Tuner (see Section 7.8.1), Exposure Time Calculators for all HST instruments, and all Phase II proposal tools that were previously handled by the RPS2 software.
