During the Director's review we had identified a duplication between this program and another program and had disallowed one transit observation. That was a mistake. Both programs are observing the same target star, L98-59, but they are targeting different planets in the system - this program targts L98-59b; the other targets L98-59d. There is therefore no duplication in the proposed observations.
Please re-instate the observation of the fourth transit and increase the total duration for this program to 17.5 hours as in the original proposal reviewed by the TAC. This change has been confirmed by the Director. (from Neill Reid) |
