Tracy Beck

Tracy is an AURA Scientist in the Instruments division.  Her functional duties involve leadership of the AURA JWST NIRSpec team, proposal planning, user support and operations development.  Her research expertise involves high spatial resolution imaging and spectroscopic observations of gas and dust in the environments of young T Tauri stars and binary/multiple star systems.

Science Interests:

• Low mass star formation; 
• Evolution of circumstellar disks and outflows around young stars; 
• Molecular Hydrogen in star forming environments; 
• High spatial resolution infrared imaging, spectroscopy and integral field spectroscopy.
