Study the large scale structure of the circumstellar disk about the star Beta Pictoris. WFPC2 images reveal a narrow core surrounded by material kicked out of the disk. This suggest the disk is viewed nearly edge-on and the flaring or warping of the disk extends several hundreds of AU from the star.
