The above HST image of HCG 87 was taken on July 19, 1999 and was taken through a blue filter. It will be combined with our other observations taken through green and red filters to produce a color image of your selected Hickson Compact Group. Click on the image for a larger version.

HST observations of HCG 87 have been taken. The above HST image of HCG 87 was taken on July 19, 1999 through a blue filter. It will be combined with other observations taken through green and red filters to produce a color image of your selected Hickson Compact Group. The color image will be released on the Heritage site in September 1999.
