PEZ is polarimeter concept being developed by Dean C. Hines in the Makidon Optics Lab at the Space Telescope Science Institute. PEZ will be uzed to investigate the polarization of the Zodical Light.
PEZ uses a novel micropolarizer detector that enable full linear Stokes imaging polarimetry without any moving parts.
The prototype was deployed successfully on a Boeing 737-800, which flew through the shadow of the March 2015 Total Solar Eclipse.
This page will be updated soon to contain more detailed information and images of the system.
