PMSU1 - Table 1C: Early-type stars, giants and degenerates

Positions, distances, absolute magnitudes and spectral types for misclassified pCNS3 stars north of declination -30o. Note that `early-type' in this context means earlier than spectral type M. These are stars which have spectral characteristics inconsistent with the absolute magnitude assigned in pCNS3. Many are from Wolley et al's (1970) extension of Gliese's CNS1.
The format is similar to Tables 1A and 1B, save that we list apparent magnitude in addition to the inferred absolute magnitude. Positions from the following sources:
1. Co-ordinates measured at the Palomar 60-inch telescope
2. Co-ordinates measured at either the Palomar 200-inch telescope, Keck or the AAT
3. HST Guide Star catalogue (version 1)
4. pCNS3
5. Digital Sky Survey images
6. Hipparcos
Distances are derived from a variety of sources, in some cases Hipparcos parallax data (note that stars at distances beyond 50 parsecs generally have associated uncertainties of >10%), but primarily from spectroscopic parallaxes.
