An example of the DSS I (left) and DSS II (right) images used for
determining the coordinates and the proper motions. The images are
10'x10' around LHS 36 at epochs 1953.28 and 1995.15,
respectively. Notice the large movement of LHS 36 during the two epochs.
North is up, and east is to the left. (This is Fig.3 of the article).
