Jo Taylor
Education and Research
I graduated from Indiana University in May 2012 with B.S. degrees in Physics and Astronomy/Astrophysics and minors in Mathematics and Italian. I began working at STScI as an RIA in July 2012 and am currently part of the COS instrument team. My primary research interests include active galaxies and their environments. Personal
Besides the necessary astronomer's interests (Star Trek, Star Wars, astrophotography, etc.), I have many hobbies and interests. I enjoy outdoor activities and sports. (As a born and raised Hoosier, I'll always root for the Colts and Hoosiers!) I also enjoy cooking, homebrewing, reading books of all kinds, and playing with my pet cat.
